Private Swim Lessons
Shallow end pool instruction will begin the week of July 6 by appointment only. Purchase an individual lesson or multiple lessons.
Private 1 on 1 for 30 minutes of instruction
Fee per lesson - $50 Resident, $60 Non-Resident
If a family would like to schedule siblings at the same time a discount will be applied for the second child. Please contact Killington Parks and Recreation to book.
Private lessons are available July 6 - Aug 13. Mon-Thurs 6PM-6:30 and Mon-Thurs 6:30PM-7PM
Registration, Cancellations and Refunds
Private lessons must be booked (7) days in advance. If you would like to book a private lesson with less than 7 days notice, you must contact the recreation department so that instructor availability can be confirmed.
Students are allowed a makeup lesson if there is a mutually agreeable makeup time available.
Absences must be reported at least three (3) hours before the missed class to be issued a makeup session.
Lessons are NOT canceled for rain. Lessons will be canceled if there is lightning. (The pool staff will determine if there is lightning in the area.)
Students will receive a make-up if there is a cancellation due to weather. (Air temp is below 68 degrees or lightning).
Bank fees and charges will not be refunded.
Full refunds will be given if lessons are canceled with at least 7 days notice.
No refunds will issued for cancelations less than 7 days in advance.
Expectations
- Swimmers will check in upon arrival.
- Swimmers are ready to start the lesson on time (lessons will end at the scheduled time)
- Swimmers will be cooperative and ready to follow instruction.
- Participants will show respect towards their instructor.
- Participants will exhibit safe behavior during their lessons.
- If behavior expectations are not met, Killington Parks and Recreation reserves the right to cancel swimmer's remaining lessons without a refund.
