Little Girl Swimming With Her Body Board
Thirty minute group and private lessons are available at the Herbert I Johnson Recreation Pool for children of all ages.
Group lessons are scheduled Monday and Wednesdays at 2 weeks session intervals (4 total lessons in each session).

Session I: July 7, 9, 14, 16
Session II: July 21, 23, 28, 30
Session III: August 8, 6, 11, 13

Mid-Day Group Lessons
Monday and Wednesday
Level 1 and 2: 11:30-12:00
Level 3 and 4: 12:00-12:30
Fee per session: $50 Residents | $60 Non Residents

Evening Group Lesson
Monday and Wednesday
Level 1/2 - 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM
Level 3/4 - 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM
Fee per session: $50 Residents | $60 Non Residents

Cancellation & Refund Policy
  • No less than two (2) days prior to start of the session to receive a refund.
  • Absences must be reported at least two (2) hours before the missed class.
  • Notifying the teacher when you come in for a lesson prior to the date of absence.
  • Students are allowed two (2) make-up sessions.
  • Lessons go on in the rain unless severe weather is occurring.
  • Students will receive a make-up if they're not allowed in the water due to weather. (Air temp is below 68 degrees).
  • Full refunds will be issued if the recreation makes changes that prohibits the participants from attending.
  • 50% refund will be given for withdrawal from the program less than ten (10) business days prior to the program start date.
  • 25% refund will be given for withdrawal from a program if the request is made within 24 hours of the programs start date.
  • Zero refund will be issued given more than 24 hours after the program has started.
  • Beginner ages (3-6) six (6) participants max.
  • Intermediate ages (5-7) six (6) participants max.
  • Intermediate ages 2 (6-10) eight (8) participants max.
  • Intermediate ages 3 (8-15) ten (10) participants max.
  • Please arrive on time. Arriving late disrupts flow of the class.
  • Have swimmers ready.
