• Participation in the parade is greatly encouraged. Here are the ways you can get involved:
• Enter a float into the parade. Gather friends, your organization or business. All floats must be family friendly, but creativity and imagination are strongly encouraged.
• Participate in the Kid's Decorated Bike portion of the parade. Children 12 years and younger can bring their patriotically decorated bikes and ride together in the parade. Parents of very young children may walk with their biker.
• Register your club or business and walk in the parade. This option is excellent for groups who do not want to create a float.
• Participants are asked to be in their lineup spot by 9:55am. Participants can arrive starting at 9:00am to make any final preparations.
• Restrictions:
• 1. No water toys or balloons of any type are to be thrown on the parade route.
• 2. No alcoholic beverages of any kind allowed during the parade.
• 3. No brochures or literature handouts.

Come support Killington Fire and Rescue with their annual barbecue held underneath the pavilion. This annual will include burgers, hot dogs, veggie burgers and sides.

Killington Fire and Rescue is asking for small side dishes to be donated. These dishes would include; chips, salads of any kind and desserts. Additional information with regards to drop-off location will be provided closer to the event date.

Due to potential traffic flow issues, parking will be confined to one side of River Road. Carpooling is encouraged.

If inclement weather occurs, fireworks will be held on July 5th.

The fireworks display begins at sundown, at approximately 9:30 PM. Bring a chair or blanket to the Johnson Recreation Center soccer fields at 2782 River Road. Come early and enjoy music from the Summit Pond Quartet.
