Trunk-or-Treat Halloween

Calling all kids to the 2nd annual Killington Trunk-or-Treat! Kids will participate in a costume parade around the parking lot and will trick-or-treat at the various trunk-or-treat locations while enjoying games, live DJ, and costume contest.

Who? Children of all ages. This event is free & open for everyone in Killington and neighboring towns.
Where? Sherburne Memorial Library
What is Trunk-or-Treat? It is a Halloween event where individuals decorate the trunk of their car or bed of a truck, then hand out candy as kids trick-or-treat at the trunk of each car.
When? October 27, 2023 from 5:30pm - 7:30pm

Please volunteer to decorate your trunk and hand out candy! 
Register below to decorate your vehicle. We are expecting 100 kids so please bring enough candy to distribute a few pieces to each child. Deadline for vehicle registration is October 26.

Costume awards
Judges will determine winners for most creative spookiest, and most realistic costumes

Cars not participating in Trunk-or-Treat can park at the Johnson Recreation Center and walk over. There are handicapped spaces available at the library. There is no advanced registration for children walking in the parade or trick-or-treating. Just come on by!

Please leave pets at home for this event.
Halloween

Pumpkin Decorating Contest
The Sherburne Memorial Library is sponsoring a Pumpkin Decorating Contest as part of this years Trunk or Treat event.
Pick out a great real pumpkin or grab a fake pumpkin from the dollar store and decorate it to look like one of your favorite book characters. Decorate it as an individual or as a family and bring it to the library by Monday, October 23. Patrons will vote for their favorites and prizes will be awarded on the 27th!
