Killington Parks and Recreation is hiring Summer Camp Counselors for the 2023 summer camp season. Camp Counselors will report to the Summer Camp Director to create and execute a successful camp experience for Camp Loads of Fun and Green Mountain Movers.
Camp Counselors are an important part of the Camp Loads of Fun team. As a counselor you will connect with children to foster a fun and safe camp experience. This is a completely outdoor day camp that includes swimming, sports, games, crafts, and more. We are located at the beautiful Herbert I Johnson Recreation fields. Additionally, Camp Loads of Fun occasionally goes on field trips to local state parks or visits the Killington Adventure Center, as well as the adjacent town library for special programs.
Counselors must be at least 18 years old and pass a background check.
Those younger than 18 are encouraged to apply for the Junior Counselor position (minimum age is 14).
